Putting Electric and Hybrid Vehicles into Local Drivers’ Hands
Baierl Subaru welcomed customers and prospective buyers for a three-hour event focused on experiencing electric and hybrid vehicles. Food and music created a casual atmosphere where visitors could spend time with the vehicles, ask questions, and learn without the pressure of a traditional shopping appointment. Guests were encouraged to get behind the wheel, with a $25 gas card offered to those who completed a test drive. Nine event test drives gave participants an opportunity to experience the vehicles on the road and better understand how electrified performance could fit into their everyday routines.

Dealership team members were available to discuss the differences between electric, hybrid, and gas-powered vehicles. These conversations helped make newer powertrain technology more familiar for drivers who may have been interested in electrified models but had not yet experienced one for themselves. Baierl Subaru reported 14 new-vehicle sales across the dealership that day. The community response showed the value of pairing vehicle education with a welcoming, hands-on experience that allowed shoppers to explore their options at their own pace.
