Compare the Vehicles That Have to Do It All

Drivers in North Texas often expect one vehicle to handle several jobs. A daily commuter may also need space for family, equipment, long highway trips, or weekend towing. Demo Days Dallas gives visitors room to explore those needs at Texas Motor Speedway on November 7 and 8.

The festival includes gas, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric cars and trucks, along with motorcycles, off-road vehicles, e-bikes, e-scooters, and emerging technology. Dedicated courses allow visitors to experience vehicles in motion and consider how different powertrains affect performance, efficiency, and capability. Beyond the drive courses, the weekend includes Freestyle Motocross, custom vehicles, autonomous technology, food, entertainment, and activities for younger attendees.

GreenCars at Demo Days

GreenCars will bring ownership questions into the same setting as the test drives. EV Reality Check sessions will address charging, highway travel, towing, battery range, ownership costs, and the differences among fully electric and electrified vehicles.

Visitors can then complete the GreenCars Matchmaker to receive recommendations based on their own routines. The questions cover driving distance, vehicle use, charging access, budget, and comfort with different fuel types. The results may include a full EV, plug-in hybrid, traditional hybrid, or highly efficient gas model. This gives attendees a useful shortlist while recognizing that a cleaner vehicle still has to meet the practical demands placed on it.
