Put the Future of Driving to the Test
The Bay Area has never been shy about trying what comes next. On August 22 and 23, Demo Days Festival will take over Alameda Point with outdoor experiences built around one simple idea: vehicles make more sense when you can actually use them.
Attendees will be able to compare new cars and trucks across gas, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, then move between motorcycle rides, e-bikes, e-scooters, off-road experiences, autonomous technology, home-energy displays, and other forms of emerging mobility.

With so much to experience in one place, GreenCars will help visitors move from curiosity to clarity.
At EV Reality Check Powered by GreenCars, experts will address the questions that shape real EV ownership, including home charging, public charging, everyday range, towing, ownership costs, and how driving conditions can affect performance. Sessions will run throughout both days and are designed for anyone who wants straightforward information without a brand-specific sales pitch.
Attendees can also complete the GreenCars Matchmaker, a short experience that considers their commute, driving habits, charging access, budget, and vehicle needs. Matchmaker then recommends electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, or highly fuel-efficient vehicles that align with those priorities. Information about available priority-lane opportunities at participating automotive demos will be provided on site.
