Connecting Students with the Future of the Automotive Industry
Mazda of Wesley Chapel joined Chevrolet of Wesley Chapel and Toyota of Wesley Chapel at Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation for a GreenCars community event built around students and the future of the automotive industry. The event brought dealership teams directly into an educational setting, giving students a chance to connect classroom learning with the technology already reshaping the vehicles they may someday sell, service, and support. Throughout the event, dealership representatives spoke with students about the growing role of plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles. Conversations covered fuel and energy efficiency, reduced emissions, evolving vehicle technology, ownership considerations, and the changes electrification is bringing to dealership operations. By hearing directly from professionals working with these vehicles every day, students could explore electrification from both the consumer and dealership perspectives.
