Henderson Hyundai Inspires Future Technicians at Rancho High School EV Education Event

Henderson Hyundai teamed up with Rancho High School to put on an EV education event for the local students. The stores service manager visited the school to speak directly towards those who are enrolled in the automotive program at Rancho and are interested in it as a possible career.

The goal of the event was to educate students on entry level technician positions and give them resources to grow their knowledge and skills. During the class a large range of topics were discussed such as sustainable vehicle technology and what responsibilities technicians have on a daily basis. They also discussed the importance of electric and hybrid vehicles and the opportunities that come with them.

Inside the school’s shop, students displayed the typical tasks they perform for class such as basic maintenance procedures. The service manager showed how they can go through training and progress towards being a technician.

By directly connecting with local students, Henderson Hyundai ensures students have the information they need to set themselves up for success. All while inspiring the youth and putting the community first.
