Paws, Badges and a One of a Kind Subaru Adventure
Barks & Badges brought more than 2,000 people to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park for a day centered on the K9 teams and public safety organizations serving the Reno community. Lithia Reno Subaru joined the event with the Subaru Uncharted, creating an unexpected connection between a popular family gathering and the next generation of electrified vehicles.
The Uncharted gave visitors something new to explore while moving between K9 demonstrations, community organizations, and other activities throughout the park. Subaru describes the 2026 Uncharted as an all-electric crossover designed around everyday usability and adventure, making it a natural fit for an outdoor event with a strong community focus.

For Lithia Reno Subaru, the event was an opportunity to answer questions about electric vehicles in a setting far removed from a traditional showroom visit. Conversations around the Uncharted helped introduce EV technology to people who may not have been actively shopping for an electric vehicle, while giving interested drivers a closer look at how Subaru is expanding its lineup.
Barks & Badges is ultimately about community. The event brings residents together with local K9 teams, law enforcement, first responders, and community organizations in an approachable family setting. Lithia Reno Subaru’s participation added electric vehicle education to that mix while supporting an event built around service, safety, and stronger connections across Northern Nevada.
