Portland EV Test Drive Expo

Electric vehicle enthusiasts, curious drivers, and sustainability advocates are invited to attend the 2026 National Drive Electric Month Test Drive & Information Expo on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Portland, Oregon. The event will be organized by the Oregon Electric Vehicle Association (OEVA) and held at the Daimler Truck North American Headquarters on Swan Island.

The Expo will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with exhibitor setup scheduled between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. Admission and parking are free, making it an accessible opportunity for anyone interested in learning about electric vehicles.

Hands-On EV Experiences

The Test Drive & Information Expo is one of OEVA’s largest annual events and offers attendees a unique opportunity to test drive electric vehicles, explore owner displayed EVs, and even see custom EV conversions of traditional gasoline vehicles. Visitors can speak directly with EV owners about their real-world experiences with range, charging, maintenance, and incentives.

Local businesses and organizations involved in the EV ecosystem will also be on site to provide information about charging solutions, clean energy, and related technologies.

Expert Presentations and Learning Opportunities

Inside the Daimler headquarters building, attendees can attend short keynote presentations from EV experts covering topics for both new and experienced EV drivers. These presentations, each lasting under 30 minutes including Q&A use multimedia visuals to explain important topics such as EV technology, charging infrastructure, and ownership benefits. Community Atmosphere and Free Amenities

Registered guests and volunteers will receive food coupons for on-site food vendors, adding to the community feel of the event. Free guest parking will be available at 4085 N Anchor St., while the main event activities will take place nearby at 4555 N Channel Ave.
