The activation connected innovation, sustainability, and LGBTQ+ community celebration in the heart of downtown Ferndale.

Celebrating Community, Sustainability, Pride and the Future of Driving

Suburban Ford of Ferndale joined thousands of community members in downtown Ferndale for Ferndale Pride. The celebration offered the dealership an opportunity to connect with thier community in a inclusive environment while introducing more local drivers to GreenCars and the future of electric mobility. With the Ford Mustang Mach-E on display, visitors could experience an all-electric vehicle up close and learn how performance, technology, and sustainability come together in a modern EV.

Throughout the festival, dealership representatives engaged attendees in conversations about electric driving and the technology featured in the Mustang Mach-E. The activation was designed to build awareness without taking away from the spirit of the celebration, giving festivalgoers a relaxed setting to ask questions, explore the vehicle, and become more familiar with electrified transportation. By participating in one of Ferndale’s most meaningful annual community events, the dealership was able to meet people where they were and make EV education part of a larger conversation about progress, inclusion, and a shared future.

The event brought together community engagement, brand awareness, and electric vehicle education in a way that felt authentic to both Ferndale Pride and the dealership’s local presence. With more than 1,000 people expected to attend, the activation created broad exposure for the Mustang Mach-E and helped GreenCars reach audiences who may not have previously considered an electric vehicle. More importantly, it demonstrated how dealerships can support the communities they serve by showing up for important local moments. Suburban Ford of Ferndale’s participation helped celebrate LGBTQ+ pride while creating new connections and making the transition to electric driving feel more accessible, relevant, and inclusive.
