The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is one of our favourite EVs, thanks to its gorgeous styling, ultra-fast charging, and impressive range. A recent price drop makes this Tesla Model 3 competitor even more attractive for 2024. 

Hyundai is the latest automaker to announce its North American models will adopt the Tesla NACS charging port. Starting in late 2024, drivers of Hyundai EVs will have access to over 12,000 Tesla superchargers. The company will also offer adapters for its existing owners.

A prototype automated EV charging robot developed by Hyundai could not only make charging easier and more convenient for many EV drivers. Combined with autonomous parking and the ability to communicate with electric vehicles, the robot could sequentially charge multiple cars in shared environments.

With the entire automotive industry looking to more sustainable driving and zero emissions – and with electric-car buyers in particular most concerned about range and efficiency – the compromises inherent in tall, boxy SUVs and crossovers are pushing automakers back to sleeker sedans.
