An EV Driving Experience Without the Charging Cable
Nissan just announced pricing for the all-new 2027 Rogue Hybrid, starting at $37,065. This new model will debut Nissan's e-Power system in the U.S. Here's how it works: only the electric motors drive the wheels. The gas engine isn't connected to them at all. It functions strictly as a generator and shuts off completely once the battery has sufficient charge. It drives like an EV, but you can fill it up at the gas station like any other hybrid. Nissan also announced preliminary fuel economy figures of 40 mpg city, 36 mpg highway, and 38 mpg combined.

New to the U.S., Not Nissan
e-Power may be new to the U.S., but it's not new to Nissan. The automaker has refined it over three generations and sold nearly 2 million e-Power-equipped vehicles worldwide since 2016. According to Nissan, the version in the Rogue Hybrid is tuned specifically for North American driving, reflecting typical speeds, road surfaces, and customer preferences. It pairs a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, for a combined system output of 225 horsepower.

Smarter ProPILOT Assist
The Rogue Hybrid also gets the latest generation of ProPILOT Assist, Nissan's driver-assistance suite. It adds a new front radar sensor, a new front camera with a 20 percent wider field of view, and updated software. Nissan also fine-tuned the adaptive cruise control to better match real-world driving behavior, with improved low-speed operation down to 12 mph and quicker low-speed acceleration.
There are also two new driver-assistance features offered: Auto Lane Change and Hands-off Traffic Jam Support. Both are available on the SR Technology Package and on the Platinum trim. Auto Lane Change steers the Rogue into the next lane for you when you signal and the lane is clear. It works on divided highways between 37 and 85 mph. Hands-off Traffic Jam Support lets you take your hands off the wheel for a bit in low-speed congestion on divided highways.
Hybrid Trims and Pricing
SV: $37,065
Outside, the SV comes with 18-inch dark-painted aluminum alloy wheels, a power liftgate, LED headlights with auto high-beam assist, and LED daytime running lights and taillights. Inside, there's cloth upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a four-way manual front passenger seat, and a 60/40 split-folding, reclining second row.
Tech includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 15-watt magnetic wireless device charging, a six-speaker audio system, USB-C ports, and a 12-volt outlet. Dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, an intelligent key, remote engine start, and heated front seats are standard.
Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning and intervention, lane-departure warning, and intelligent lane intervention, among others. There's also a new lead car departure notification that tells you when the car ahead starts moving. ProPILOT Assist with hands-on support comes standard, too.
SV+ with Premium Package: $39,165
Adds quilted TailorFit leatherette upholstery, two-way power lumbar support for the driver's seat, gloss-black roof rails, and a panoramic moonroof.
SR: $39,065
The sporty SR rolls on dark-painted and machine-finished Sport aluminum-alloy wheels with aero covers. It also gets premium LED projector headlights, quilted TailorFit leatherette upholstery, gloss-black exterior accents, two-way power lumbar support for the driver's seat, and ProPILOT Emergency Stop.
SR+ Technology Package: $43,065
Adds front and rear parking sensors, rear automatic braking, gloss-black roof rails, memory functions for the driver's seat and mirrors, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic moonroof. It also gets a 14.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, including Google Maps, the Play Store, and Google Gemini, a surround-view monitor, Invisible Hood View, Front Wide View, and ProPILOT Assist with Hands-off Traffic-jam Support.
Platinum: $45,065
The top-of-the-line Platinum gets 19-inch dark-painted, machine-finish aluminum alloy wheels, LED turn signals, memory functions for the driver's seat and mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a panoramic moonroof, ambient interior lighting, a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 14.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 14.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, including Google Maps, the Play Store, and Google Gemini, a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, dual wireless device charging, ProPILOT Assist with hands-off tsupport, Invisible Hood View, Front Wide View, front and rear parking sensors, and rear automatic braking.
When Can You Get One?
The Rogue Hybrid hits dealerships in fall 2026, starting with the $43,065 SR with Technology package. The full model range will be available in early 2027.
