Following a three-year hiatus, the Charger sedan returns to the Dodge lineup for the 2026 model year. Only this time around, it’s powered by electricity rather than gas.

2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack: Available with More Doors!

The all-electric Dodge Charger has been around since 2024, but so far, it’s only been offered as a two-door coupe. That changes for the 2026 model year, with Dodge rolling out a four-door version of the electric muscle car.

Despite the addition of two rear doors, the Charger sedan has the exact same silhouette as its coupe counterpart — the hood (complete with R-Wing air pass-through), roofline, and liftgate all carry over unchanged. In fact, that’s a fairly common theme between the Charger sedan and coupe.

Muscle Car-Like Performance

Like the coupe, the 2026 Charger sedan is offered exclusively in the top-spec Scat Pack trim after Dodge pulled the plug on the entry-level R/T model following 2025 production. While that results in a higher cost of entry for the new model year, you do at least get more for your money.

The 2026 Charger Scat Pack’s dual electric motors combine for 670 horsepower, representing a significant jump compared to the previous R/T’s 496 horsepower. There’s also a button-activated PowerShot mode that delivers an additional 40 horsepower for up to 10 seconds.

Torque for the Scat Pack stands at a brawny 627 pound-feet. With standard all-wheel drive (AWD) and a mechanical limited-slip rear differential helping all of that power get to the ground, the Charger sedan can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. The quarter mile flashes by in 11.5 seconds.

To make the most of its performance, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack sedan comes with a suite of driving modes that include Sport, Track, Drag, and Custom settings, the latter of which allows you to tailor the vehicle’s various systems to your driving tastes. If you find yourself on a racetrack with your Charger EV, you can engage specific race settings like launch control and Drift/Donut mode.

Though it doesn’t rumble like it used to, the Charger sedan still makes plenty of noise thanks to its Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system. Also offered on the Charger two-door, the Fratzonic system emits a unique sound intended to mimic a gas-powered V8’s engine’s roar. Dodge even tuned the system to increase intensity and sound based on the accelerator pedal position.

Driver-Focused Interior

The interior of the Charger sedan is a carbon copy of the Charger coupe. That means a standard 16-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch central display canted toward the driver for a cockpit-like feel. A pistol grip shifter is a nod to the 1960s version of the Dodge muscle car.

The Charger sedan offers three levels of regenerative braking, which can be selected via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. One-pedal driving functionality is also included.

Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button and remote starts, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Amazon Alexa capability, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system featuring a subwoofer.

Despite being billed as a sedan, the Charger four-door actually has a hatchback trunk design. As a result, cargo room is an SUV-like 38.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats.

Optional Equipment Headlined by Track Package

Even though the Scat Pack is the top of the Charger line, a few options are still available. The most notable is a Track Package that ups the Charger’s performance ante with staggered 20-inch wheels, a dual valve adaptive damping suspension system, and six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brakes with red painted calipers.

Other perks of the Track Package include a gloss black rear spoiler, a Driver Experience Recorder for logging audio, video, and vehicle data, and high-backed fixed-headrest performance seats upholstered in leather and suede.

Charger sedan buyers have a few other optional packages to choose from, including the Plus Group (adjustable interior ambient lighting, upgraded LED headlights, a wireless charging pad, a power liftgate, and a 360-degree camera); the Carbon & Suede package (interior and exterior carbon fiber trim, leather and suede upholstery, and a suede-lined instrument panel, headliner, sun visors, and A-pillars); Blacktop Package (dark exterior badging and 20-inch dark aluminum wheels); and a premium audio package (18-speaker Alpine Pro audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier).

Stand-alone options include a panoramic glass roof, matte black Fratzog dual stripes, and a gloss black-painted hood.

Modest Range, but Fast-Charge Capable

The Dodge Charger has never been known for efficiency, and the same can be said about the electric version of the muscle car. Dodge says the 2026 Charger Scat Pack sedan will have a range of 241 miles, which is on the low end for a new EV and the exact same as the Charger coupe. If the coupe's fuel economy carries over (Dodge hasn’t released EPA estimates for 2026), the Charger sedan will be rated at 78 MPGe, which is less than the three-row Kia EV9 GT-Line AWD (80 MPGe).

The 2026 Dodge Charger four-door sedan is, however, DC fast-charge compatible. When hooked to a Level 3 charger, recharging from 20% to 80% requires just 24 minutes. The car is also compatible with Level 1 and 2 chargers.

Pricing and Availability

As of May 2025, Dodge has not released pricing for the 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack sedan. However, the order books for the 2026 Charger sedan are open, so you can reserve one today. Deliveries are scheduled to commence during the second half of 2025.
